【摘要】:Thetestresultsprovideanindicationofthemotorlifeofanelectricuprightvacuumcleaner.EndofmotorlifewillbejudgedinaccordancewithSection3.1.1Thistestmethodcoversmotorlifeevaluationofhouseholdorcommercialsingleanddualmotoruprightvacuumcleaners(uprightswithseparatemotorsforcreatingthevacuumanddrivingthefloorbrush).Self-propelledorpower-assistcleanersarenotwithinthescopeofthistestmethod.1.2Thistestmethodislimitedtoevaluationoftheuprightvacuumcleanerelectricmotor(s).1.3Thistestmethodprovidesatesttodetermineoperatinglifeofthemotor(s),beforeservicingisneeded,byanacceleratedlaboratoryprocedure.Motor(s)aretestedwhilemountedandoperatedintheuprightvacuumcleaner.1.4Thevaluesstatedininch-poundunitsaretoberegardedasstandard.ThevaluesgiveninparenthesesaremathematicalconversionstoSIunits,whichareprovidedforinformationonlyandarenotconsideredstandard.1.5Thisstandarddoesnotpurporttoaddressallofthesafetyconcerns,ifany,associatedwithitsuse.Itistheresponsibilityoftheuserofthisstandardtoestablishappropriatesafetyandhealthpracticesanddeterminetheapplicabilityofregulatorylimitationspriortouse.
