【摘要】:Thistestmethodcanbeusedforquantitativedeterminationofresidueinemulsifiedasphaltsatatemperatureof135x00B0;C(275x00B0;F)witha60minutedistillationtestusingcurrentdistillationapparatus.Thismethodissuitabletoobtainresiduesforserviceevaluation,qualitycontrol,andresearch.ThisdistillationmethodisnotintendedtoproduceresiduesequivalenttotheTestMethodD6997260x00B0;C(500x00B0;F)distillationprocedure.1.1Thismethodcoversthequantitativedeterminationofresidueinemulsifiedasphaltscomposedprincipallyofasemisolidorliquidasphalticbase,water,andanemulsifyingagent.Theemulsifiedasphaltswillgenerallycontainpolymericmaterials.Itisespeciallysuitableforemulsifiedasphaltresiduepropertiesthatmaybealteredatthehightemperature260x00B0;C(500x00B0;F)distillation.Sincethereiscurrentlynotaprecisionstatementforthisprocedure,itisrecommendedtotheuserthatthisprocedurenotbeusedforbuy/sellpurposesatthepresenttime.1.2ThevaluesstatedinSIunitsaretoberegardedasthestandard.Valuesinparenthesesininch-poundunitsareprovidedforinformationalpurposesonly.1.3Thisstandarddoesnotpurporttoaddressallofthesafetyconcerns,ifany,associatedwithitsuse.Itistheresponsibilityoftheuserofthisstandardtoestablishappropriatesafetyandhealthpracticesanddeterminetheapplicabilityofregulatorylimitationspriortouse.
