【摘要】:Thesedigitalreferenceimagesareintendedforreferenceonly,butaredesignedsuchthatacceptancestandards,whichmaybedevelopedforparticularrequirements,canbespecifiedintermsofthesedigitalreferenceimages.Theillustrationsaredigitalimagesofcastingsthatwereproducedunderconditionsdesignedtodevelopthediscontinuities.ApplicabilityofThicknessDesignations:Clusteredholes,scatteredgasholes,scatteredshrinkagecavity,centerlineshrinkage(1)Theimagesofthex00BC;-in.(6.4-mm)castingsareintendedtobeusedinthethicknessrangeuptoandincluding3/8-in.(9.5-mm).Theimagesofthex00BD;-in.(12.7-mm)castingsareintendedtobeusedinthethicknessrangeofover3/8-in.(9.5-mm),uptoandincluding5/8-in.(15.9-mm).Theimagesofthex00BE;-in.(19.1-mm)castingsareintendedtobeusedinthethicknessrangeofover5/8-in.(15.9-mm),uptoandincluding1-in.(25.4-mm).ShrinkageCavity:(1)Theimagesofthex00BD;-in.(12.7-mm)castingsareintendedtobeusedinthethicknessrangeuptoandincluding5/8-in.(15.9-mm).Theimagesofthex00BE;-in.(19.1-mm)castingsareintendedtobeusedinthethicknessrangeover5/8-in.(15.9-mm)to1-in.(25.4-mm).Gashole;foreignmaterial,lessdense;foreignmaterial,moredense(1)Theimagesareintendedtobeusedinthethicknessrangeuptoandincluding1-in.(25.4-mm).ImageDeterioration8212;Manyconditionscanaffecttheappearanceandfunctionalityofdigitalreferenceimages.Forexample,electricalinterference,hardwareincompatibilities,andcorruptedfilesanddriversmayaffecttheirappearance.ThePracticeE2002linepairgaugeslocatedineachdigitalreferenceimagecanbeusedasanaidtodetectimagedeteriorationbycomparingthemeasuredresolutionusingthegaugestotheresolutionstatedonthedigitalreferenceimage.Donotusethedigitalreferenceimagesiftheirappearancehasbeenadverselyaffectedsuchthattheinterpretationanduseoftheimagescouldbeinfluenced.Agreementshouldbereachedbetweencognizantengineeringorganizationandthesupplierthatthesystemusedbythesupplieriscapableofdetectingandclassifyingtherequireddiscontinuities.1.1Thedigitalreferenceimagesprovidedintheadjuncttothisstandardillustratevarioustypesanddegreesofdiscontinuitiesoccurringintitaniumcastings.Useofthisstandardforthespecificationorgradingofcastingsrequiresprocurementoftheadjunctdigitalreferenceimages,whichillustratethediscontinuitytypesandseveritylevels.Theyareintendedtoprovidethefollowing:1.1.1Aguideenablingrecognitionoftitaniumcastingdiscontinuitiesandtheirdifferentiationbothastotypeanddegreethroughdigitalradiographicexamination.1.1.2Exampledigitalradiographicillustrationsofdiscontinuitiesandanomenclatureforreferenceinacceptancestandards,specificationsanddrawings.1.2Thedigitalreferenceimagesconsistofseventeendigitalfileseachillustratingeightgradesofincreasingseverity.Thefilesillustrateseven......
