【摘要】:Thispracticedescribesmethodsforthestatisticalanalysisoflaboratoryresultsobtainedfrominterlaboratoryproficiencytestingprograms.AsperPracticeE1301,proficiencytestingistheuseofinterlaboratorycomparisonsforthedeterminationoflaboratorytestingormeasurementperformance.Conversely,collaborativestudy(orcollaborativetrial)istheuseofinterlaboratorycomparisonsforthedeterminationoftheperformancecharacteristicsofamethod,ascoveredbyPracticeE691.MethodAcoverstestingprogramsusingsingletestresultsobtainedbytestingasinglesample(eachlaboratorysubmitsasingletestresult).MethodBcoverstestingprogramsusingpairedtestresultsobtainedbytestingtwosamples(eachlaboratorysubmitsonetestresultforeachofthetwosamples).Thetwosamplesshouldbeofthesamematerialortwomaterialssimilarenoughtohaveapproximatelythesamedegreeofvariationintestresults.MethodsAandBareapplicabletoproficiencytestingprogramscontainingaminimumof10participatinglaboratories.Themethodsprovidedirectionforassessingandcategorizingtheperformanceofindividuallaboratoriesbasedontherelativelikelihoodofoccurrenceoftheirtestresults,andfordeterminingestimatesoftestingvariationassociatedwithrepeatabilityandreproducibility.Thisstandarddoesnotpurporttoaddressallofthesafetyconcerns,ifany,associatedwithitsuse.Itistheresponsibilityoftheuserofthisstandardtoestablishappropriatesafetyandhealthpracticesanddeterminetheapplicabilityofregulatorylimitationspriortouse.
